Privacy Policy

Develune ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and during our work with clients, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@develune.com and we will answer plainly.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the site.

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, and the contents of any message you send through the contact form or by email.
  • Information you give our AI assistant: the messages you type into the chat widget on this site.
  • Technical information: standard server and hosting logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, generated automatically when you visit.

How we use it

We use the information above to reply to enquiries, to discuss and deliver work, to keep the site secure and functioning, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use contact-form submissions to add you to a mailing list.

The AI assistant

The chat widget on this site sends your messages to a third-party large language model provider so a reply can be generated. Those messages are processed to produce the response and are subject to that provider's terms.

Please do not enter passwords, payment details, health information, or anyone else's personal data into the chat. For anything confidential, email us instead.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to operate this site and our business. Each of them only receives what is needed to perform its function:

  • Hosting and content delivery for the website itself, including server logs.
  • An email delivery service used to send contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • A large language model provider used to generate AI assistant replies.
  • Standard business tools for accounting and email correspondence.

Client data during engagements

When we work on your systems, we may be given access to data belonging to you or your users. We treat that data as yours, not ours.

Access, handling, and any residency requirements are agreed in writing before work starts. We sign non-disclosure agreements as standard, use least-privilege access, and do not move client data outside the boundary agreed with you. On request at the end of an engagement, we return or delete the data and credentials we hold.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored locally in your browser so the site remembers it, and is never transmitted to us.

How long we keep information

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are commercially relevant and then deleted. Records connected to a paid engagement are kept for as long as required by contract, tax, and accounting obligations. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it.

To make a request, email hello@develune.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for a straightforward request.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable providers to protect information in our care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
